Command Desk text messaging information

Command Desk supports distinct messaging programs. Consent for one program does not authorize another.

Command Desk operational text alerts

Registered Command Desk users may optionally choose recurring informational or operational text alerts about activity they enable, including new lead alerts, follow-up reminders, items requiring attention, customer or human-handoff alerts, account/service/billing/usage notices, and selected summaries.

  • These messages are informational and operational, not general promotional marketing.
  • SMS is optional and is not required to use Command Desk.
  • Message frequency varies based on selected settings and business activity.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to unsubscribe.
  • Reply HELP for assistance.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • After opting out, a user may later opt in again through an authorized method.

How users opt in

Inside authenticated Command Desk Notification Settings, a user must separately enable SMS and affirm the dedicated SMS consent control. The consent control is unchecked by default and appears with the following disclosure:

“I agree to receive recurring operational text messages from Command Desk about activity and alerts I enable, such as leads, follow-ups, reminders, service or account notices, and summaries. Message frequency varies based on my settings and business activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. SMS is optional and is not required to use Command Desk.”

Recurring operational SMS will not be activated until the provider setup and applicable approvals are complete and an immediate enrollment/opt-in confirmation send path is enabled.

Customer communications through Command Desk

Individual Command Desk customers may separately configure business SMS or communications for their own prospects or customers where supported.

  • This is a separate messaging program from Command Desk operational alerts. The Command Desk operational A2P program is not reused for a customer's prospect/customer messaging campaign.
  • Consent to Command Desk operational alerts is not consent to receive another business's messages.
  • Each customer messaging program requires its own business identity, applicable registration, consent, and compliance setup.
  • Customer SMS availability depends on enabled modules, provider configuration, and applicable approvals.

Mobile privacy

Command Desk does not sell mobile numbers or messaging consent.

Mobile information and SMS opt-in data or consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Service providers and carriers may process mobile information only as necessary to operate, secure, route, or support the requested messaging service, or where required by law.
